Good Mourning to you all.

I am Cassandra and I am a veteran to Susan's, who ha been MIA for a very long time. To anyone that knows, has anyone heard from Terri-Gene and how is she. I perused the archives and did not find any references beyond January 2006.

To those who remember me I am alive and well in Miami Florida. It has been a turbulent time between last I posted and today. Lets just say that for a time I was residentially challenged.
I did throughout that time maintain a full time life as a woman. I know more about hardship living as a transwoman than any of you can possibly imagine. So called normals would have an easier time being residentially challenged than I did.

Here is a bit of wisdom that I bring back to you, from the very depths. Passing is highly overated. For those of you here who know me, I have been in small and large communities as a woman and I have found that the level of passing remains about 60/40. This in my case is without any kind of surgery. Of the 40, level of acceptance is about 80/20. It's really only the 20 you have to woory about.

I don't want to get to long here but suffice it to say you can come to me with any questions and as I have the time to log on and review my messages I will be happy to respond and share my experiences, which is the whole point of Susan's.

By the way I am a Transwoman who works at a concession stand on a nude beach! Yes, I said Nude Beach. That is another story.

Good Vibes to all,

Cassandra

Hi and Welcome back Cassandra, :)

I am relatively new here, joined about 6mths ago.  I would love to hear about all the trials and tribulations you have been through these past years.
I notice you mention being residentially challenged, does this mean you were not welcome were you live?  I am currently in the same position and am desperately trying to get out of here, it is like the redneck suburb from hell, worst place I have ever lived unfortunately. :(
You sound like you are in paradise atm, and I hope to find myself in the same place too.  Just to have a fairly normal existance would be such a treat.
I for one, would love to hear your experiences and how you coped or overcome to get where you are now.

Hello Cassandra.

Welcome back indeed, it sure has been a long time girl.  I think that you will find a lot of new faces here since you were a member last.  There are still a few of us oldies around, so you won't feel like a complete stranger.

So get stuck in and get re-aquainted.

Good morning, Cassandra. Welcome back to Susan's.

It sounds as though you have led a full life to date and have come to a place that your comfort-level likes a bit better than where you were before.

So happy you can be there, and here. Good experience that I am hoping you'll share with us.

Cassandra!  OMG!  I'm thrilled you've returned!

I joined Susan's two years ago (HelenW was my online name then) and you were one of the posters I enjoyed reading the most.  It pains me to read that you've had so many hardships between then and now and am happy to see that you're hanging in there.

Quite a bit has changed since you were last here but what hasn't is that Susan's is still a safe haven for TG folks and their allies in what can be an unfriendly world.  Welcome back!!

Hello Cassandra and welcome back to Susan's!

I am sure I have read some of your previous posts somewhere around Susan's.  Please take a few moments to get familiar with the the site rules before posting as I am certain they have changed a bit since the last time you were here.  We look forward to your future posts and participation.  Enjoy your stay and welcome back!
