So today I actually started my regimen and I also started my voice work. I feel like I am still so far away from achieving everything I want to achieve. Although the numbers for my voice are great starting out and I can get the resonance into my throat I still feel like my voice will never pass. And on the HRT, side I really haven't felt anything different today. I was hoping to be able to feel a more emotional but am not. I know I won't have physical changes for awhile but I feel like those are never going to happen. I guess my dysphoria is really kicking my butt today. I am just so glad to finally be starting my journey.

This is not a sprint race, it's a marathon and you barely made it past the starting line.

I know exactly how you feel, trust me. I've been there a bit more than 7 months ago and at the beginning, every day right after I woke up, I ran to the mirror, checked my breasts, my hips and my face to see if anything has changed overnight. Of course, it didn't... You will most likely not notice any changes for some time and it's quite likely that others will notice those changes before you do. Give it some time and enjoy it, time flies... trust me.

Transitioning requires a lot of patience.  It also requires a lot of determination.  And that can be frustrating at times.  It's difficult to do both - but you must!  Keep working at everything and planning as much as you can, but be patient.  Change will happen, but it will probably take longer than you think.

All will be well Supergirl :) keep up the forward momentum...you will progress!!!

Don't forget to not get so focused on the finish line that you miss out on the journey... The whole ride is pretty amazing!!!...Enjoy each day and soon you will be marveling at how far you have come!!!
