CHRISTIANS SAVAGED AT CARNEGIE HALL

One week from today, "Jerry Springer—The Opera" will open a two-day run at Carnegie Hall. Commenting on this is Catholic League president Bill Donohue:

"Never before in its illustrious history has Carnegie Hall been home to Christian bashing, but that is all about to change on January 29 and 30. Incredibly, it is allowing a patently obscene and viciously anti-Christian musical to be performed on its stage. Thus has it got into bed with the bigots, making a mockery of art in the process. This isn't art—it's license.

I always find it amusing to hear the pot calling the kettle black, LOL!

In its lifetime Carnegie Hall has hosted over 50,000 events according to their web site, hard to believe that this one is the WORST.

Let me make sure that I've understood this correctly: We have a Catholic fundie who 'loves the sinner and hates the sin' when he is able to do so without the all the booshwaa he's been taught and had pounded into his skull giving him a grand headache over people who aren't like him saying that OTHER people are bigoted because they make some jokes about about his beliefs and other people laugh about it?

Hmmmm. Interesting. Where dya suppose he gets this stuff? I thought the writers for comics were still on strike.

I'm sure he's the type to cross a picket line too.  People rarely only have ONE bad quality.

Some of us have none, tekla! 

What I don't get is that Jerry Springer makes Christians look bad.  Who exactly comes off looking good?  Even Jerry looks bad, the audience worse, and I have it on pretty good authority, that most of the people on there are fake.  Like if you got a letter saying "We want you on Jerry Springer" who in their right mind would go?

I wonder why fundies give these guys any publicity at all?  It's free advertising!
