There quite a few facilities near the city hall for removing hair, although someone told me that it's very unlikely that they do facial hair which is the more unsettling issue. Even if there is one, people might suspect that I'm actually trans for doing such a thing.

Any advice on how to make it look like an innocent and perfectly normal trip?

Maybe going early in the morning when they first open. Fewer people are up early. 

Also,  a field trip to inspect the entrances and how exposed they are.  Sort of a walk thru before you actually go.  For example, if the establishment is in a building without a storefront, then no one could see you enter the salon from the street.  To the casual observer, you could be going to any of the businesses in the building.

Also, many electrologists work on the weekend and that might be an option as fewer business people are in the vicinity on their day off.

Or going to a salon in another neighborhood, or city.

Many people have facial and body hair removed both male and female. It is normal and common in laser and electrolysis places for men and women to be clients.

I really doubt that people walk the street and see someone go into a shop and immediately think 'Oh they must be TG'.

On the other hand, my parents keep telling me that shaving anything other than the face is strange and abnormal and to stop that. Hm, when they first open, well with any luck there won't be too many people, and it won't cost me a ridiculous sum of money.

With any luck, the statute of limitations for emotional child abuse won't run out too soon and I'll be able to sue my school. That would be one way to recoup money in the future, perhaps. If someone abuses me for being transgender, I'll sue them. Lawyers are the solution to everything, it seems.

Yeah, I would not let facial hair removal be anything scary. That's blowing things out of proportion. There have been some men that are happy being men that have permanently removed facial hair for purely reasons of preference and comfort... basically like Cindy said they won't be thinking 'it's a ->-bleeped-<-... look he removing his facial hair!'

There in nothing to fear but the cost and the PAIN!

It is quite possible that you may not be their first trans client.  When I went in to make an appointment, I just told the lady that I was trans.  It turned out that her sister is also trans.  She was very helpful and pleasant, and asked me how my transition was going.

It might be a good idea to phone ahead and inquire about how they are with trans clients.  (I realize that not everyone shares my "damn the torpedoes" attitude.)  If you get a good vibe on the phone, you'll be fine.  You aren't doing anything suspicious.  You are just getting a cosmetic treatment to make you look better, same as any other client.

I don't know what the place is like near you, but the place I went to, I've been there a couple of times and haven't seen another client yet.
