So ladies i'm bashing my head against a huge wall. Namely my parents ignorance in relation to my gender change surgery. zThey are totally supportive of my transition however they have huge racism problems with me travelling to Thailand for surgery. It's mainly my mother. Father just basically concurs with whatever she believes. She is very racist towards Asian people in general, always has been. I have one surgeon in my country (australia) offering surgery however he doesn't exist to me as an opttion. I have had a very bad experience with him in the past and have zero respect or trust in his abilities. So my only option is to head to Thailand which I have no problem whatsoever. My parents can not come with me to Thailand due to my mothers medical problems plus she wouldn't go there to save her life. I'm trying to convince them with the presentation of post surgery pictures concerning the inferior penile inversion style used by the surgeon here against the non penile inversion method offered by Chettawut.
My big problem though is that I can't find photos anywhere of post surgery results. Can anyone offer me a link or similar to where I can findd some. Google doesn't help, the results are all filtered out. 

An approach you might consider is the United States and Canada has several surgeons to chose from. Some may do the surgery as a two step procedure instead of a single step. Explain to your parents that taking this route may be more costly and ask if they are willing to make up the difference.

There's actually 2 surgeons who do SRS in Australia.. Andy Ives in Melbourne and some guy in Sydney, Dr Hearcht or something.. Haven't heard anything good about him though..

Dr Ives doesn't have online pics, they are only seen at a consult.

Unfortunately it is considered obscene so you may have to change the security on your browser. I know there are several views on you tube of the surgery itself. I was able to find these pictures <Links removed by moderator>

I can't relate to why you care what your parents think. Can't you just ignore them?

Perhaps that pdf about Suporn would be helpful to show your parents? I think it shows Thailand (or at least Suporn) is a safe option.
