I'm voting  

I took care of the my name change on my voter registration a while ago. It took several tries to get it updated, but it's updated now.

Note to anyone who's name/gender doesn't match their voter registration, bring documents to prove it's you if need be (ID, court order, etc) to vote. Don't let anyone say you can't vote if your registered to vote.

Depending on your state, you may need to provide ID that matches the name on the voting rolls, even if that is not your preferred name. In all states, you will need to sign the voting rolls under your legal name, even if that is not your preferred name.

I live rural and don't have a polling place so I mailed mine in a few weeks ago....lots of nail biting this week!!!

This is the first time I ever wanted to vote in a US election.

And I never even want to vote in Australia.

This was one of those elections that I almost wished My SRS day had been so I could forget that it occurred. Already voted since almost all votes in my state are Absentee. Hugs

Not only is the presidential election up in the air right now, but there are also several ballot measures in a few states which will have long-lasting fallout.

I mailed mine in a few weeks ago also; it's way too crowded with expetionally long wait times to vote in person where I live.

In Massachusetts we're voting on charter schools, slot machines, conditions for farm animals, and the legalization, regulation, and taxation of marijuana.

Got in and out early, the hard part was running the bake sale gauntlet twice! I gained weight going past it!

Mine is cast. Only 12 minutes, in and out.

I'm going after my therapy appt. today. It's at the chapel on the college campus.

Lets not go off the deep end , the message is simple and straight forward " Vote "

Casted my vote this morning. In and out in 10 min. I would have been done quicker but there was a elderly man in front of me that needed help on how to use the machine and they were assisting him. Our next door neighbor just happened to be behind me so we chatted for a while. (Mostly about the house on the other side of her being for sale.)

  I sent in my ballot last week.

I have voted this election and every possible opportunity since coming to the age of majority.  That people have had to work a lifetime for the right to vote and even risked their lives to gain the vote is history enough to suggest a civic and moral imperative to vote.  Every vote counts!   

I am a transgender person and I vote, every time!  Consider what is at stake and please, lets do our civic duty today!

I will say that I have zero faith in the electoral college, which emphasizes that the popular vote means nothing.
