Happy- after much deliberation got my navel pierced. Hurt more than I thought it would but feels good that I'm regaining control of my body and care about it more than I did in the past.

My car has an "Equality" sticker on it's bumper, my neighbors know I'm trans and some of them are Confederate flag waving rednecks. Yesterday I drove it with no problem. This morning I left for work at 4:30 and by the end of my half hour ride the steering wheel was shuddering. After work when I inspected the car and found that the lug nuts on my left front wheel had all been loosened and the vibration this caused tore three of the lugs out. It had to have been deliberate. Nothing there to be happy over, however:

"Hers" first time ever, and I don't even mind the "his" later in.

Not only would that be considered vandalism, but it could also be construed as attempted murder

What if you had become involved in an accident in which there were one or more fatalities?

Not only does this type of vandalism put your life at risk but it puts the lives of the general public at risk as well

Being that it was the left front wheel this could have caused you to veer into oncoming traffic

Anyone could be inside the oncoming vehicles, a mother with a car load of children, an elderly couple, a family man with a family to support

Possibly the next time you have more funds it would be a consideration to look into a some sort of surveillance system so you have a recorded record with a date and time stamp of who is getting up to mischief

The complex already has plans for parking lot cameras. We just don't have them yet. I'm well aware of how dangerous this was. There's little for the police to go on.

Lately I've been seeing every flaw, although, to be truthful, these are not new and they get fewer every day.

Today I heard a coworker speaking some distance behind me, "they're over there, near that gentleman." I turned and the customer was walking towards me. I responded, "he gave you good advice, but I'm not a guy."

The. Customer said, "I don't know how he could mistake you for a guy", and I said, " well, he doesn't know me all that well and was looking at me from the back ".

The customer said, " even from the back you look nothing like a man."

I don't? News to me, good news, but news!

I have an original "SAVE THE PLANET, LOVE ALL-SERVE ALL" Hard Rock CAFE refrigerator magnet that I have had for who knows how many years, (20-30 years or so) it's a bit tattered and broken into three pieces and I use it to hold my most current receipt

Well, this morning when I wondered half awake into the kitchen to make coffee I accidentally brushed up against it which of course knocked the bottom piece and retained receipt off to mysterious places

I searched and searched under the table, the refrigerator, even under the oven    I found the receipt but alas, no half a refrigerator magnet     

Finally this evening, I noticed that I had spilled a bit of coffee which had run under the microwave so I went to clean it up

Low and behold, there it was my beloved half a magnet 

I almost began to believe that there is a god but did't want to get too carried away

My second job is becoming my only job! They offered me full time and are running me ragged getting a full client list in place by the end of the year so I can quit Walmart. Simultaneously exciting and terrifying! Their confidence and level of being impressed with me is really intimidating! They offered me a sweetheart of a deal that will at least double my income and get me benefits.

A lot to live up to!

My so-called husband has announced that he's moving out in the new year, and he's taking one of our kids with him.

So I've lawyered up.

Anyway, just got in from helping various neighbors and a few other folks, glad I was able to help out but now feel a bit worn and seem to have developed a sore throat and earache

I have had the self concept that I was a freak in my lifetime. The bad part is that any human being should ever feel that way. It is also sad that many out there would call me, a M to F full time trans woman a freak now. The good news is I realized today that the only reason I ever had a legitimate reason to consider myself a freak was when I was in total denial of my truth. The good, happy part is that there is nothing freakish about who and what I am. I am thinking the only freaks are the haters who have nothing better to do than make people feel bad. The word "freak," I dismiss you. I said, "Good day!"

Indicator warning light not working on my bike. Thought replacing a bulb will be no problem. Doesn't have a bulb it's a built in LED on a circuit board. New circuit board needed ( thankfully still under warranty)

Last night we had drinks at the neighbours and I was stunned when their 8yr old said you have sparkly toes!!! I was like the proverbial stunned mullet and it took my awesome son to break the focus. He said he had painted my toes when I was asleep as he does this, yeah right. This seemed to dispel any focus but I was sweating soooo badly 2 people made comment. I loved someone noticing but felt so awkward as I was like a possum in headlights.
My wife said nothing until this morning when she said, I think you need to clean your toe nails.
I can get rid of the sparkles but will be putting clear polish on. :-))

Xmas could have been worse, but it could also have been better.

Once I left home it seemed a given I wasn't going to belong there again.

Not really so much "unhappy". I had to keep myself from laughing at the man.

I interviewed two new clients today. The first is great and I'm taking her on.

The second, though...
I walked in and introduced myself. He had his music AND television way too loud. He turned them down and I repeated my introduction. He immediately replied with "I don't want you, I want eye candy" then turned his music back up. His aide then called his wife on the phone and put me on with her. I told her, "it's not going to work out. Evidently I'm not sexy enough for him." She apologized and I left.

When I got to the car I started laughing. At least he didn't misgender me. Good luck finding someone willing to work with him, the sexist <expletive deleted>! Most people in my field are women, self respecting, and few of them are Hooters material.

Today is a bittersweet day. Walmart has been my nest, my crucible. I've worked here for a good portion of my medical transition. I rarely get misgendered anymore and my confidence has improved drastically.

This is my last day there and I'm going to greatly miss all the accepting people, particularly the women, who accepted me into their lives, their hearts and not least of all their restrooms, even when my attempts at being the woman I am were laughable at best.

On Monday I return full time to the work I love best, helping people with handicaps make their lives a little better.

So, I'll miss where I've been but look forward with excitement to the near future, something I haven't done in far too long.

Go get 'em, girl!
