Well I've had an amazing weekend! After having a couple of rough days of conversations with my wife in which I was expecting our marriage might well end, she surprised me completely. She had a long talk with our little girls about privacy and gender roles. I came home from work Friday took a shower and put on "my" clothes only to emerge to the living room to a "new me" birthday party complete with a cake! Tears flowed freely for sure.
So my young daughters now know and are great with it. I can be fully me at home, no more baby steps here anyway.

Our marital relationship is not much different than it had been. Instead of her sleeping on a futon in our bedroom we went to IKEA and bought a second bed frame just for her. She has decided she wants to stay together in our lives anyway. We bought some new decor for our space also while there.

So going into the city I stretched my wings a bit. We stopped and got me some new kicks. I wore my skinny jeans and a plain tee shirt over a camisole top. Had faint nail polish and just a bit of eyeliner on. I don't think I could pass right now so I didn't try. Anyway we went to lunch and IKEA. It's amazing going into the city how the only people who give you "looks" are the homophobes who quickly avert their eyes. Anyway it was such an awe inspiring experience for me. I know I'm heading on the right path just need to be patient , SO hard, to get there.

Josie,
You started my day out with a cry, Josie. That is such a touching story. I am so happy for the acceptance you are receiving. Save me a piece of cake. You owe me for making me cry. lol

There is virtually no difference in the ability of thinking and evaluating the circumstance between kids and adults. Kids can think and understand as much as, even better than adults. Kids are sharper in observation than adults. Moreover, kids are more flexible in changing their thought.

My little daughter is always interested in my fashion and beauty items. Whenever I purchase new items, it is her who opens and tests it first. Also she jokingly urges me to have my hair cut short. She sometimes removes the polish my my fingers and toes. Above all, she is proud of me.

Just do it.

So glad to hear everything went well and totally loving the party with cake. It looks fab. Absolutely amazing way to celebrate as it should be.

Agree with Rachel btw your eyes look great and have given me a nudge to give eyes a shot.

Wife can be tricky but sounds she is doing very well which is a godsend.

It was an amazing night for sure. My wife and my relationship is evolving as we go. She needs to find a counselor also. She has moments of feelings of loss which I totally understand. She's not really angry anymore but just sad about it. I honestly would have never been able to accept myself without her support. She gave me the assurance I needed to show my internal self.

Thank you both for the complement. :D Its great to get positive feedback! I really like the cats eye look. I was blessed with good lashes to work with. I only wish I could just use makeup to make the rest of my face passable. Guess many of us wish it was that easy.
