I really want a jaw reduction as I feel my jawline is abit long and want it higher. I spoke to dr Z he said he can burr it and mentioned cutting masseter and buccal fat removal too but I get a feeling that doing that might make my face look longer from the front. Wheras I just want the midbody of jaw vetween chin and back angle reduced so face looks shorter. Has anyone had jaw contiuring done for a long kid of jaw drop?

If I am understanding you correct... I believe what you want is impossible unless you are willing to totally reconstruct your face... If you shorten the mid body of your jaw it will affect your bite/ teeth alignment, mouth closure/ chewing etc. then everything would have to be adjusted ...if you really want it I believe Korea is the best place to do that extensive surgery....

No I meant just the lower border shaved about 2mm of bone. The bone that directly is parallel with your 3 molar teeth between chin and jaw angle if that makes sense.my bite is fine I dont need 2 jaw or anything.

I had chin contouring and buccal fat removal done by Dr. Zukowski.  It "shortened" my face considerably.  I had posted before and after pictures in another thread, but I can post them again for you.



Dr. Zukowski does very good work in my opinion. You can see how much rounder and softer my jawline is now, although please bear in mind I am still quite swollen under my jaw.  I am two months post-op.

I want a jaw reduction too but feel like I have the same problem as you, where just having jaw reduction would create wierd results as I do have a long jawline line too. Have you thought about double jaw surgery along with jaw width reduction surgery. I know it's more extreme and therefore  confused if I should get both or not but also want the most feminine and natural looking result.
