Hopefully not a bus driver in Chattanooga...
Pun aside, if you have a vehicle to drive, you can always try applying for a driving position with companies like Uber or Lyft, or with delivery services like DoorDash, Amazon, Postmates or GrubHub. They're not going to make you rich, but they're generally easy to get in with, have an abundance of hours available, and if you dedicate enough hours, it would probably provide enough income to make ends meet.
Even $10 an hour x 8 hrs a day x 6 days a week = $480 /wk, $2,000 /mo, $24,000 /yr
I know that income will vary depending on location, but as an example, (In WA) when I drove for Uber I averaged approx $19 /hr (after taxes/deductions) (up to 100 hrs /wk) and delivering for Postmates paid ~$15 /hr. (I put in approx 60 hrs /wk) I've thought about driving again here in FL, but I'm just wary of delivering food in a 2014 Mercedes and depreciating the vehicle value faster than the amount I would make.
