Two weeks till HRT.

I am starting to get very nervious about the enormity of it all. I have only know this one life and it has been good to me despite the GID. Now the solution to GID is upon me and I am getting very nervious about a new life. I hope all goes well but I will need to adjust very quickly.

I hope I can be good over the next two weeks, just help me through if I go crazy.

90% of it is in your head, I garuntee it.
The other ten percent isn't nearly as bad as we fear it.
Don't worry about it.
It's nice!
It's realy quite pleasant!
Not terrible at all.
Or even mildly.
Best thing I ever did times several thousand guru skampies(I don't know what a guru skampie is, I just made that up. ;D)
But no, realy it is a fun thing to do
don't worry about it!

Sara

P.S.(it really isn't the best thing I've ever done, just one of the best of the better ones! LOL )

Good luck Alice! You've done a lot of work to get to this place. It's natural to be a little nervous.

Hi Alice,

I understand the enormity of it all.
By our time of life we have a lifetime of baggage to worry about, parts of us we want to keep, and parts we just want to lose, and not being sure if we have control over any of it.

As stated by others though you have done a lot of work to get to this point, and you are no doubt sure of yourself and your decisions.  This next step is all about doing what feels right.  If you don't do it you will have regrets all your life.  You owe it to yourself.

I too am not far away from starting.  Just waiting for my Dr. to call in my prescription.  Any day now.
So maybe the stuff I just said was for my benefit as much as yours.  Believe me I understand the next step is a really big one.

Maybe we can hold hands as we embark on this new life journey!

Hey Alice.

You've made it this far, despite all the heartache and difficulties we all know you must have faced. You'll do fine down the rest of this road. And when you do stumble, 'cause we all do, just say hi. My shoulder is your shoulder. And I have a pair of very willing ears. I'm sure that goes for everybody else here at Susan's.

Blessed Be, and Good Luck!

Another day of feeling crap  >:(.

I am glad I removed what I wrote monday night - it was nasty.

So I just have to hope I get through today somehow.

Oh, Alice!  I know I don't have to remind you, but this depression thing is cyclical.  Better days will be coming and HRT might just end it for you.  So be excited as you face that wonderful new possibility.  And don't forget that we are with you here.

Hi Alice,

Hang in there girl.  It's a journey that is not always easy, but end end or at least 9-12 months into it, life gets better.  You've come a long way.  Just hang on and as Kristi said we're here for you.

Take care and rest.

Yay - I just had a chat to my docotor about the results of the blood test - everything is OK for HRT  - Colestoral (?sp) is just a bit high.

Anyway I free to fly on HRT. Will be coming back to my doctor after the trip to the endo.

Some good news  :D.

Alice

PS - Thanks for your words Kristi and Beni

Alice,
The results of your blood tests is good news.  Now, I'll give you some more good news.  HRT should help with your cholesterol levels - it should lower them.  If they're still too high after a bit, they can prescribe a number of different meds to you, most of which are pretty benign as far as side effects.

Speaking of your HRT - like Beni and Kristi said, we're here for you.  As the main character on a popular Canadian TV show says, "I'll be pullin' for ya - we're all in this together."

Hugs,
Carol

Oh Alice!
I'm' so sorry that your back on that roller coaster again.
Hang on girl. Like Kristi, Beni and Carol said we are here for you.
I do believe things will get better when you have started HRT.
Keep your focus on the future and not today.
Some big hugs are heading your way Sis,

What the..?  Are you o.k, Alice???  Why have you changed your nick?  I hope everything is alright??  Please hang in there...   :)
  •

TheBattler

No - I am not OK.

As I explained in the other thread - I always identified as Male- why the hell are you allowing a CD to transistion????????

Alice

Dear Alan, I think you need to speak to someone close to you as soon as possible.  You need to get this all out.  You don't need to transition for nobody.  Stay just as you are, you are lovable just as you are.
CD or whoever you see yourself as, whatever makes you feel contented.
There is no more conflict Alan, you have won and you and only you have achieved that.  Please talk to someone so you can relax and feel o.k about everything.  Nothing has gone too far that you cannot fix.
You can cancel appointments, no harm done, ok?  Please be o.k.   :)
