My co workers and boss seem to see something in me.It is a positive change in me they see in me since I started my transition last year.It was a little tough after I came out to them last year about this. One comment is I am much happier and a better person now.My boss and I are on great terms about this and has worked with me very well.My co workers,Mandy,Brianna and Jaime have been a great help. They told me great places to buy clothes and shoes at,were right on the money on this knowing they are transgendered friendly.I have a good friendship with them because of this. Before my transition,my co workers noticed I was not happy about things in my life.I was in the dumps,ex girlfriend broke up with me and it was with my gender indentity.

Hurray for you. You conquered your fear and it worked out for you. I am pretty sure if I had come to work dressed as a woman I wouldn't have had the twenty year career that I did. It was a different time. That's why I respect the ones who have gone before. They did what they had to do and in so many ways I view their actions as that of trailblazers. Dena one of our Mods transitioned in the early eighties. I remember the first time I saw Caroline Cossey on the Donahue show and you could tell he was taken by her beauty. Then there was Renee Richards the tennis player. These were my examples. Today there is Gigi,Carmen, Lavern, Isis, Candice, Janet among others to show you the way. So many of the youngsters are transitioning beautifully. Hopefully some day you can find peace in your decision and not have to "come out". You are just accepted as being someone who was born in another's body. Not because you chose it, but that they have finally done the research to show that in most cases it is not a choice.

It's great to hear that, I'm so glad for you.  It's amazing how just being yourself completely turns your life around. Its good that you have the support of your coworkers. I can't imagine the number of Trans people who have had to change jobs when they came out due to closed mindedness. I hope things keep getting better for you.

My family says I have my life back. They notice the anger and pain is gone.My co workers and boss say this as well.Notice I was angry and went through pain.
