I'm pretty scared of wiring this huge amount of money, especially when the account holder is KRITTAPAS KITIYAMONGKOL and not the Chettawut Clinic or something similar. Can anyone post the wire details they got?

Hi Ella,

I sent you a pm with the details I used for you to compare.

I was worried when I wired money to him, and then it took a few days for them to let me know they received it, so that made me worry more, but everything turned out to be fine; I only paid my deposit via wire transfer though, and I paid the balance with travelers checks on the day of my consult with Dr. Chettawut.

Ella,

Welcome to the site. I see we have some members that have answered already. We have a lot of members all over the world with many different experiences. So, lots of potentially good advice and support.

I also wanted to share some links that we try to pass along to all our newly posting members. It is mostly welcome info and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a moment to look at them, please do so:

Things that you should read

Once again welcome to Susan's. I hope you find this info and what you are looking for here.

With warmth,

Joanna

PS One of the links will explain that you cannot PM back or change your avatar till after 15 quality posts. I saw someone had PM'd you.

Thank you so much Emma! Now I can relax :D

Kitten, I'm planning on sorting out the full fee early so I don't have to stress about it. Hopefully I don't need the skin graft so I'll get a little refund!

Thankyou Joanna. I was looking for the button to reply to Emma's PM but now I understand.

Glad of this post I just paused in the bank with this same thought.

Sounds like everything went ok so I'm now going to send deposit.

Oh he'll take you your money alright. No worries there. Just pray you have no complications. He doesn't answer emails when you do.

I've seen your complications post and I too hope everything will be straight forward and satisfactory.

Given an NHS surgeon in the UK managed to physically attach my larynx to the incision he placed smack bang on top it during a simple trach shave I'm hoping I've had my share of surgical screwups. Since then I've been stalled nearly a month and the surgeon even admits he's clueless. And that's in the accountable and respectable UK with one of their newest super hospitals

For all that I love the NHS I'm seriously wishing I waited and got it done in Thailand or elsewhere.

The idea of letting another UK surgeon work on me especially for something so delicate is scarier than Thailand.

A friend of mine just went to Thailand for GCS with Dr.C and unfortunately she had complications, seems her intestine was nicked during surgery, the doc wanted more money to fix it , We are both from Ontario so as you read above, surgery costs are covered but not travel expenses or accommodations while recovering so she had to wait till she could get help with funds to have this repaired. I spoke to her a few weeks ago , seems shes back home now and recovering! :)
