Hi everyone! :) this is my very first time making a post like this but I don't know where else to turn. so I have a confusing story but I will make it short. I have been playing in makeup and wanting to be pretty since I was little but my parents caught me and banned me from getting ahold of any makeup when I was about 12. Well since that I have tried to put it all behind me and hide everything but a year I had my first boyfriend and he made feel comfortable about everything that I am. while we were dating my siblings and some friends found out about me which was like may of this year. Well now I started back on wearing makeup and doing what I want (which is to be pretty lol) but I feel like it is to late for HRT cause I'm 22 now. idk how to upload pics but please feel free to go look and follow me on Instagram @riona432
Thank you

I started HRT when I was 36 so no 22 isn't to late. It's nice young age to begin HRT. You should see good results from HRT at that age. Hugs

I started HRT at 35, and I think things turned out just fine.

that said, you need to go into it with realistic expectations.  Will you be able to "pass?"  Probably, but I wouldn't plan a modeling career unless you throw more money into FFS, etc.

Sweetie, I started at 28, and it's still the single best decision I made with my life. Others have started at 38, 58, 78... as long as you are alive, it isn't too late.

I couldn't figure out how to get HRT before I was 25 and my avatar picture is from around age 35. I think 22 is a good age to start and depending on your current appearance, you may be surprised at how you  turn out.

I started last year at 51. I will never have the body of a cis woman but my body and face have already started changing noticeably. However, the mental calmness and ability to be happy would be worth it in either situation. So, nope, 22 seems a pretty great age to do it.

I wanted to give you a belated welcome to the site.

I will be starting HRT in January at age 62.   You are a young whippersnapper, so you'll do fine. 22 is definitely not too old.

Just echoing the other ladies here, 22 is young enough. I started at 36 myself.

I started at 62.  I would have loved to start at 32, if only I knew then what I know now.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.
