I've found that v-neck shirts are very flattering on me (at least in my eyes) and I really want to get more. I got one from Target, what other places do you guys find v-necks that you like? I prefer them in darker colors- helps hide my imperfect binding.

Obviously December isn't a good time to shop for them, but once stores start to stock the spring selections, where do you all like to go?

Have you tried online shop Asos? You can find clothes from several stores all in one place.
They/them pronouns preferred.

Target and H&M have done me well in the past in terms of v-necks.

I second H&M. The n season they sell for something like 3 for $15. Tons of colors too. Uniqlo is good. And Primark.

I've always wanted to pull off V necks but I look goofy as hell in them.
A couple of my friends wear them, though, and I'll second/third Target and H&M.

H&M and Top Man have great v-necks that come in some pretty awesome colors.

ps- Bring a bag of unwanted clothes to H&M and get 15% off your entire purchase.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

Okay, now that we've had a whole thread on where to buy them--

I've always been drawn to v necks but I feel like they make me look more feminine or something. Is that my imagination? They're associated with men's clothing but it's one article of men's clothing that doesn't seem to help me pass. Why is this?

I'm pre-T, so take this with a grain of salt... I think sometimes it can be harder to pass with the v-neck than a crew neck, because of showing more feminine collarbone or possibly a hint of cleavage, or even revealing the binder, depending how big the neck is.

I do like v-necks though!

My fiancée wears a ton of V neck and scoop neck t shirts so I have a hard time associating them with masculinity. Pre-T and surgery, I wouldn't go near them.
Even now, after having bulked up a ton, I just look awkward in them. Not feminine, per se, but they make my neckline look... delicate? Anyway, I pretty much won't wear crew necks if the neck on them is even somewhat loose, so it may just be a personal preference.

Yeah I'm over 2 years on T now and got some good facial hair, so it's not much of a concern for me anymore :) Facial hair pretty much seals the deal regardless of everything else. My avatar photo is over a year old. I'm able to pull off pink clothes and a more fem haircut/color so I'm good with v-necks :) Personally they actually have always masculinised my shape, which is pretty atypical, I know most guys seem to struggle with them.

Some people look good in them, I never liked them though because my school uniform had them...

Muscle v necks can be sexy.

Omg @anxietydisord3r somehow when I answered on my phone earlier I didn't see your posts about v-necks possibly being feminine.

I think it depends on your proportions. I know I like them because they emphasize my shoulders which are pretty masculine. I like my shoulders already and v-necks just seem to emphasize them rather than making my body look any different, so I imagine they could just as easily emphasize something you don't like. The v-necks I do have are dark colors and I can only wear them with my best binder, because I feel like with my looser binders they emphasize that my chest isn't flat or pecs, that it's got something else there (even if they don't look like breasts). They seem to be very finicky and I would totally not be surprised if they either work GREAT or TERRIBLY on different people.
