Well I did it I did my treachael shave today. Now I can actually be Mika.
I am actually really happy,  and I don't know were to begin. 2 weeks ago I picked up my prescriptios for the recovery process.  Got some pain killers and another drug to stop from nausea and vomiting,  well because of the anesthesia. Last week Dec 6 was suppose to be my operation,  but becaue I forgot to read the e-mail I ate before going to surgery,  and its my first time ever to have any surgery.   Luckily they didn't charge me a penalty.
Today I woke up at 5:30AM got dressed showered,  called an uber to the clinic. arrived at 6:30. They wantrd me to come in at 7. But I saw another patie t getting ready for hos operating,  so I didnt get in the operation room till 8:10.  From 7:50-8 the nurse did some blood pressure test went through my meds.  The dr and the nurse were very nice. gave me a prep talk.
Got in the operation room at 8:10 got my iv hooked up,  got gassed then passed out.
I woke up at 12 feeling dizzy.   They called my friend to pick me up then I went home and slept.   Pain wise for me it doesnt feel that bad considering I hate pain.  It just feels like a bad sorethroat. So my check up will be this Friday the 16th.
Pain should probally last a few days.  To be honest I feel very happy about myself.  Probally wont do another surgery for another few years,  but who knows.  But I feel great.

My Experience (With Pictures)
Day 1 Post-op:  Throat hurts while you swallow (Feels like a very bad sore throat).  I literally just drank a banana smoothie for lunch, and dinner I just a cream of mushroom soup. Pain pills I try not to be dependent on in.  pretty much wake up drank my smoothie watch some tv, took my pills went back to bed,  same thing for dinner.
(To me I felt more pain when I was sleeping, probably because my garment was too tight and wasn't sleeping properly)
Day2: There is still pain and discomfort when I swallow.  I made a banana apple cinnamon smoothie with honey, tasted really good, and for lunch and dinner I had soup with meat in it, and I just soaked 2 pieces of toast along with the soup.
Day3: Day 3 After treachel shave.  For the most part I feel great.   Pain has gone down a lot.  Just a bit of discomfort when I swallow,  but I can tolerate it. I was finally able to go to the washroom,  and I was finally comfortable eating a full solid meal.
Day 4-6:  Gets better and better. Just discomfort (Not pain)
Day 6: Got my stitches removed at 10 AM.  Dr said everything looks normal.  Nurse said to keep the garment on for 2 more days doesn't need to be tight tight, gave me some healing cream, did a follow up check list, on how to take care of my wound, bandages etc.
Next check up if I want to. Late Dec 2017
Attached would be my progress pics https://kevs-mika.tumblr.com/post/154694090727/tracheal-shave
