Thanks, Anistasija, that's on the list for next year, along with ear piercing. I'm building lists of things to do when my name/gender marker change goes through, and when the divorce is final, a couple of significant events for me next year.

Edit:  Note that these things will be done as my idea of a little celebration.  If something actually bothered me, I'd address it at once.  I view threading my eyebrows and getting the piercings as fun activities to try out.  Yes, even if slightly painful, I think of them as fun...  Heh, I suppose THAT says something about me...

you do not have to wait until the new year, go to a beautician and just do it. I have a rule that you have to do tomorrow, do today. You'll see a new yourself, and you will not be able to move away from the mirror

I haven't had HRT or hair removal so I just put lipstick on my 5 o clock shadow to cancel it out for the most part. I already went out in femme dress all day having only started this summer. Subjectively do I think I pass? Probably no? but looking back in pictures I see I made some serious gains. So I'm not discouraged. 2017 is my year!

You look fairly feminine considering you haven't started hrt. Good job with the lipstick too, practice putting on foundation and a bit of concealer while you wait to start hrt and it'll go a long way to improving your look. Really good base to work off of though!

I've been transitioning (medically) for 3 years now going on 4 in 2017 but thank you. I normal don't look like this that when i go out.

Thank you guys for the feed back but yeah the beard area is my face shaven sadly. Its the hyper-pigmentation from shaving that you see. I been going to get laser treatment since early 2015. Hmmm.. Maybe i should try electrolysis but i heard it doesn't work on African American skin?  I guess i should stick with makeup until i can fix it.

This how i normally look with makeup on.

Really? It's by my upper lip and chin but thanks! I try taking care of my hair and I hate wigs! Your face is flawless too. :D

Hello,
I figured it was hyper-pigmentation because I have the same, but not as dark and I flipping hate it!! Laser does work on dark skin. The laser tech has to use a certain laser though. It has to be a YAG. I had electrolysis done first but I wanted full face clearings so after about 75hrs of electro, I went to laser which worked the best for me. I am dark skinned as well, check the a few pages back in this thread for my pics, and as you can see, there is no hair on my face or neck and only a faint hyper-pigmentation above my lip and mid cheeks. I only shave like once every 3 weeks and that is for like 15 hairs spread out among my face. Which is less than most cis-woman. A few of my girl/friends grow mustaches and have to wax, shave, etc... So I'm happy. I actually believe the darkness left on my skin is from the electro tech and not from shaving because it correlates to the areas where I had electro. Keep in mind though that laser is permanent hair reduction not removal, but most of my hair hasn't grown back since the 6th session sooooooo yeah it works really well :)

By the way... I'm super envious of your lips!!!!

Was trying to take a couple pics more in focus with a blond wig, a couple spots of cover-up and lipstick.

JMJW

Jalynn, you pass with the sunshades, I wouldn't be able to clock you as trans, but without them you don't quite, although it is very close. I think you could pass if you wore a wig with a fringe that covers your brow more.

Jalynn

Thanks. Maybe someday a brow reduction and I might be able to. Next time I will try a couple pics with eye liner/eye shadow. Definitely need more practice lol

It may be because I'm not looking at you in person, but, from here, it doesn't look like you even need FFS. I would have to take a very hard, lengthy look at you to think you were anything but cis. Just my opinion.

You honestly look good, imo. I agree with lower bangs, though, but that depends on your comfort level.

Hun, you are very pretty.  Based on your photos, I would say you don't need FFS at all.

Would be so awesome if I could pass with my natural hair one day but has receded pretty badly. I have just let it grow a year so far hoping it will het long enough to do something with.

I lowered my blond wig so it covers more,

You are passing right now from your face pics. I can't believe they are making you use the men's room at work!
If anything maybe the chin but its very cis-female sized so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Jalynn
I know what you mean about the front receded hair line. Perhaps you can let a hair stylist try something with it. It just looks so limp and unstyled in that picture. You might be pleasantly surprised. I wish mine had that kind of length.  :)

Harlie, your 3AM makeup looks fine.  Actually, you look more mature, in a good way, than with the more highly polished look in many of your posts.  Your transition has been good to you! (And for you, I'm sure. :) )

Yay! I was a bit worried that the longer hair made my face too angular and manish. I'll add it back into my active rotation. :)
