I'm in the startings of transitioning and I'm looking for some information a few different parts of it. So here they are: I'm hoping to use breast forms and want them to feel real to me but I don't want a big size and I have a small shape, if there is any that could be recommended for me that would be great; I love to swim but I don't know how to transition and still be able to do it, would be AMAZING if you could help with that; and I have size issues down-stairs so tucking is very hard to do, I need a really wide middle piece and I can't find any that are a good enough to hold all day (tried tapes but they always rip or rip skin). Thank you for all the help so far.

Hey. Have you tried the Breastformstore? They have many types of forms and sizes and for both no and little tissue developement. They have a warehouse in the usa and Canada and the quality is really good unlike the ebay offerings. Personally I'm about to begin transitioning and have two sets of forms I have been using the past two years. I have been using Transform Supersoft style TF200 in size 5 and 7 which I love so much. Size 5 gives me a 34C bust and size 7 gives me a 34DD bust but it depend on your underbust measurement. Give the site a try I'm sure you'll find something you will love  ;)

Hi Aubree, swimming is a bit tricky. I swim, and I'll be starting my RLE in a few months, I have purchased a swimdress, that should help hide things. It also (like many swimsuits), has padding around the chest to help give a better shape. I think the Breastform store mentioned above also sells foam forms that might work for exercise or swimming.

If I remember correctly they have ones you can use in water. I personally have three one pieces which are very hard to find nice one's amongst the 2 piece bikini trend. They stay in no problems so far but I bet the self adhering would do a much better job.

I forgot too mention I'm 5ft 4 in tall, waist 28in and 37in hip. Personally for my dimensions 34DD is the max I would go and that's because my booty offsets it nicely so it doesn't look out of proportion. On the breastform store site becareful of the sizes I have found they overstate the sizes in the chart. The size 5 I bought says it will give you 34DD in reality I got 34C. It's safe too say they are off two Cups for each size.

From my experience, the Breast Form Store has the best forms. I used the Classic series but you might want to look at the athletic and swim forms.

In regards to making things smooth down below, there are as you may guess, there are many methods. What I found best for me that came with time and experimentation was two-fold, a gaff (sold at the breast form store, search for gaff and look at the Classic gaff).

See https://www.susans.org/wiki/index.php/Tucking#Step_5:_Wearing_the_gaff

I reinforced the gaff with Spanx's boy shorts, rolled them down to reduce coverage (check out the pictures at spanx to see what I mean). For swimming the swim suit acts like the boy shorts. I will say that the boy shorts are not cheap but well worth it. For years I used these methods and could do anything in comfort. Now comfort, at first it will be painful to tuck but the long you tuck the easier it gets.
