I was going to make them think we had a war council, but it would really be a committee to place flowers around the colony to keep people smiling.  Heh heh.  even I can lie.  Wait a minute! that's not good.  I have shamed myself.

i can see a few ways a wish like that could be corrupted. like someone could put up a big beautiful wall and say gotchas now lol c(=

however if as the op described i would love it. not only due to the difficult road i see before me.

Three years ago, a transgender high school friend and I planned to run away together to a transgender community on an island in Baja Sur, where some famous transgender people currently live. The indigenous Indian tribe that inhabits the island accepts a Third Gender, so have no problem with the community, and the people buy fresh sea food from the tribe fishermen.

Plans fell apart when my friend lost courage, but those communities do exist already.

I can truly understand an "oasis" a place of peace from our societies sometimes cruel in-acceptance of trans folk! Gays and lesbians have been doing it for years, resorts and vacation spots as well as living communities and even parts of certain states where people live that are exclusively gay or that are "gay friendly"!
Women have also created "safe space" festivals where they are free from a dominant male society and its oppression on women. Culturally, some feel more comfortable to live in areas where the share the same views with others if the same race or religion but ultimately it is segregating ourselves and although a nice place to spend some get away time in comfort and to relax, it would do us more harm than good to not be visible and to not take our rightful place in everyday society where we have the right to live! We cannot deal with life's issues if we escape them completely! (my thoughts) Blessings! Julie [emoji177]
