So I've only been without Spiro for six weeks since my GRS and I'm sure it will take some time for everything to settle down on the endocrine front but I am noticing two things now that I'm no longer taking that daily dose of anti-A.
First, don't have to pee anywhere near as much...no surprise since Spiro is a diuretic. Secondly, and this is more of a surprise, I'm not sweating much. We're deep in a hot humid Sydney summer and I've noticed that my level of sweating seems way down. I used to sweat heaps before the Spiro too, so I wonder if this isn't more to the lack of T in my body more than lack of Spiro.
I saw my endo today and asked about that and my levels too. My T levels are negligible, about the same as before when I was on Spiro. He said that a lot of trans women report additional benefits along those lines post orchiectomy which can't be sheeted home to testosterone alone. Apparently sweating less can be one of those those things.
Anyone else notice similar or different things post Spiro and after orchi/GRS?
