looked at my nails today and saw a corner of my thumb nail was broken off and thought, WTH!!!

Ha... happens to me last week. Had to do some house repairs this WE and ended up deciding no new nail polish until Monday ;-)

Sometimes it's hard to put things in their proper perspective.

my perspective now days is to take better care of myself including my nails. do not know when or how but now know the feeling. 

A couple of weeks ago, I woke up in the middle of the night all upset because I dreamed I broke a nail.  Seriously!

I have to keep my nails super short because I play guitar. But I like the way short polished nails look. [emoji3]

Two days ago I broke one and had to cut/file them all so they were the same length. Then yesterday I broke another one yaaaay. Still not disastrous, I managed to keep a decent length but I like them oval and it's hard to achieve that when short.
