Within five days on Testosterone my voice was starting to slightly deepen i'm going on 4 weeks still in the 3rd week i believe and people have already told me you can tell the change in my voice, even though it still has a ways to go.
I also got "Newer" white hairs all over my face where they weren't before and then i started getting scared like what if this all happens to fast for not me but others? What if people get jelious because things are happening fast with me and not them? I don't want my experiences to make others unhappy or to make them think it'll be the same on their end because everyone's different and i guess this fear came form other places because i kept hearing about the jealousy that can happen and i started worrying about it for a strange reason. Even writing this i'm worried and also thinking this is the dumbest thing iv'e even been worried about but it's on my mind so i'll post it. With some people it happens faster with some it doesn't and i just don't want to make others distressed do i hide it? idk, i feel oddly pressured by this fear. You know? what if i make others distressed.

My transition went fairly quickly. I blame it on good genes and PCOS. I was passing at least half the time pre-everything. I shared everything as it happened with my transition on my blog and here. While it is harder for some people or takes longer for them to see the changes they want, you can't help that your experience is what it is. I think it's more important to share your story and your experience as you've had it so that others can benefit from hearing about it.

Others can chime in and share their own if their experience is contrary, but I think it would be silly for them to be distressed about it. There are plenty of reasons why some people do very well, very quickly on T and for others it takes longer. It has no bearing on how manly someone is or how successful their transition is going. If they are unhappy about their results, they either need to do some testing and speak to their doctor about their results or give it more time. Time is unfortunately the most likely thing they need.

Transition is a very individualized thing. Just like no two transitions look exactly the same, we shouldn't expect that our results taking the same dosage of the same medication at the same frequency would have the exact same effects at the same time. It's not something you actively chose to have happen, so I wouldn't let it bother you too much.

Just be sympathetic when folks are unhappy about their progress and don't use those threads as a platform to talk about your own experience if you think it might make them uncomfortable. It's one thing to post in a thread where people are asking about individual timelines for changes on T, but another to post on one where someone is venting about the changes or lack of changes they've experienced in their first year. But I think all of the regular posters here are kind enough to know that :) And by nature of you posting this, I think you are too.

I'm as careful as possible always have been but doesn't mean iv'e always used that carefulness i'll admit.
only recently iv'e got back into being careful with my words and expressions. Being the highest in my vocabulary is helpful when needed sometimes so iv'e been using that to the best of my ability's as of late i slacked on it before.
Although iv'e always had my own tricks on going about things i like to stick to experience instead of assumption or knowledge on certain things iv'e collected over the years.

My voice was going hoarse and dropping at that timeframe too, and growth down there I noticed in less time than that. I was pretty surprised. Everyone's different. But T is a powerful hormone, people will see changes even if takes a bit longer. No point feeling guilty, nobody's in control of how their body does what it does in response. I think most people are aware of it being an individual thing, they're not going to attack you.
