This election gay and lesbian Democratic voters can concentrate on issues other than those pertaining to gay rights because the top three Democratic presidential candidates are fairly equal in their level of support of equal rights for LGBT people, according to The New York Times.

I don't know about "friendly" but not outright hating gays is a start.
