My husband is finally on T. He has been for a couple of months now.

I know the experience is different for everyone but could you guys tell me what changes you've noticed in either yourself or your S/O when it comes to attitude, forgetfulness, selfishness? Any of those? I feel like our relationship has changed drastically since he's started T and I really feel like he's pushed me aside and left me in the back burner  I'm not really sure how I feel about our relationship right now. I've discussed these things with him, he says he'll try harder, but nothing has changed. I'm not sure if his behavior is normal, or if he's just being a jerk.

I'm not trying to come off as insensitive by any means. We've been together for 8 years and married for 4. He's been out to me as a man since the beginning, so I suppose this is why I'm struggling with the changes that are happening. I was terrified of his voice changing at first, but now the attitude is what bothers me. I feel so alone and incredibly depressed.

Going on T will obviously cause an individual to feel more confident, have more self esteem etc; which I can understand might make you feel like you've been left behind. But it won't cause selfishness or anger issues unless those traits were already in a person pre T. He may be so excited about being on T; as well getting used to feeling better mentally and having more energy; that he hasn't considered how it's affecting you. He'll likely settle down or maybe you should talk with him again. If he simply won't communicate with you anymore or be tjere for you that's not ok; but if he simply now wants to go out more or something similar; that's to be expected as T has a huge help mentally as well as physically.
They/them pronouns preferred.
