Alright, iv'e been on Testosterone I believe 4 weeks i could be counting that wrong but my ticker is below if you want to confirm how long its been. I'm getting nervous about my voice it's slightly dropped but i haven't seen it dropping more
and i was wondering if that's common for the next voice changes to be a little longer of a time span because i'm getting nervous that it won't drop again for some strange reason. Yes, i get silly fears sometimes so i wanted to ask. I've been super focused on my voice recently it dropped and then i was really happy to hear a slight change in my voice then over the past couple days i started started getting distressed wanting it to get deeper, its dropped but i still sound like a teen i'm not expecting anything huge but ugh, i just want it a little better then it is. :(

Then i started thinking is it because i'm not training it along with the changes?
for a ftm, iv'e just been hoping it'll manage on its own.

I'm a bit over 2 months and have had 2 major shifts. Each one proceeded and followed by a period of raspy, phlemy, sounded like ->-bleeped-<-. But there have been more gradual shifts over that time as well. T takes years to fully effect and effects everyone differently. I have had no noticable growth downstairs, but facial hair, chest hair and voice changes. Don't rush it, try to speak from the chest rather than the upper throat but don't push it. You'll get there, brother.

You may want to check out this link, which will direct yuou to a program called Pratt, that can be used to track pitch changes. I saw it on one of the girl's voice threads and use it to check my progress. http://dienekes.blogspot.com/2006/02/what-is-your-voice-pitch.html

I did no voice training at all. My voice dropped multiple times over the first two years.

We all worry about where we will end up. I worry that i am 5'2", with a huge booty and hips, will the body ever masculinize? If you are noticing a change a 4 weeks, trust me there is alot more to come

Give yourself a year before you freak out about what changes and what isn't changing. You are only worrying yourself over nothing.

Mine just dropped within day's of my one month! V-excited. My trans friends noticed when I said something but I'm sure it's mostly me that hears it!  ;D ;D ;D

Friendly tip: it's not always helpful or realistic to compare your changes to other people's changes! Everyone, trans or not, experiences puberty differently and responds to sex hormones in their own way. The majority of transgender men (at least among those who post online about their transitions) notice voice changes within the first three or four months, but I'm sure that there are some people for whom it happens even later. There's absolutely no rational need to be concerned now — you're only a few weeks in. If it really does cause serious anxiety, though, talk it over with your doctor or therapist.

I've been on T cream for about a month and a half and haven't really noticed much with my voice other than a little sore throat. There is so much that continues to happen over like a year or even 2 years. A month really isn't anything, don't worry man. In a month or 2 your voice will drop hard

The depth to which your voice drops depends on so many different factors, the most notable of which being genetics. I know some cisgender males that have very shallow/thin voices.
That being said, you simply haven't been on T long enough to see the full breadth of changes as far as your voice is concerned. The first two years are when the most notable changes take place but it will continue to very subtly alter after that period of time, as well.

In the beginning, my voice 'dropped' pretty quickly (or so I thought) but it seemed like every other day, I still sounded like I used to. It was very frustrating but it rounded out with time.

^ Sound advice. It's one of the hardest things to do, not comparing your changes to others. It's also one of the most critical things to do for maintaining your own sanity throughout the (long) process.

The annoying thing is the voice sounds about half as deeper again inside your own head than outside. You know it's changed for sure, but then you record it and it sounds far less impressive, lol.

A 3 months ish it sounds male to me, but the recording has it sounding jussst about male.

hey man, i know it's really easy to worry about your changes, but i can assurance you––it will happen. you'll notice the first 'major' drop at around 3 months, and it'll continue to lower after that.

here's my voice comparison pre-t to one year. i'm now two years and three months on t, and it is a little deeper since the last recording, but in my head, i feel like my voice is still high. haha. voice dysphoria will always linger, but record your progress and it'll help you later on. good luck :)

*i had surgery on my 10 month on t, so i was a little drugged up...lol that's why i got confused

I've been on T for 10 months and my voice has dropped but it still feels sore in the lower ranges, for example if I try to sing with my lower range. Anybody else experience this and does it get better?

Oh man my voice didn't do a good ol dropperoo until 4 or so months on Testosterone. Then it just got deeper from there throughout the years. I know you're eager but hang in there!

My voice dropped roughly every 2 months until probably 7 months (which is early for it to stop I think). 2 months was the first (little) drop, 4 months was the biggest, and then 6 was again small. My voice also seemed to stop changing relatively early, my doctor and I are wondering if it's due to the instability in my dose for a while. I was on too low a dose for a LONG time. Finally got up to a real dose for me, which is "high" for most from what I've seen online. (But it's also pretty average compared to other guys who see my doctor.) I've been having some voice cracking again so we'll see what actually happens but don't expect anything.
