Ok so at t the moment I'm pre t but I have some questions regarding the enlargement of the clitoris and how it effects you.
How long do you have to be on t to see the growth and how do you clean it?
Also, this is kinda gross but once you have the growth can you pee from it?

Growth is usually a fairly early change, but it's not something that occurs all at once. Generally speaking you'll have several growth spurts over the course of 2 years. Statistically, that is when the majority of growth is done. You may still experience growth after that, but generally not anything significant.

You can not pee from it because your urethra is not inside your clitoris. Your urethra is between your clitoris and vagina.

You clean it just like you clean your junk now. Water, washcloth. Avoid anything that would irritate the skin. It's not terribly complicated. Ends up looking like an uncut micropenis, so you could google cleaning under foreskin if you want tips on that.

You have to pull the skin all the way back to clean it properly. Gets easier as it gets bigger, I think.

I was surprised that it grew pretty quickly; within the first month and learned that's pretty typical of other trans men. But it took roughly until 6 months on T for it to look like a penis. You can also make it grow more by putting DHT cream on it.

And there's not a lot of skin down there so it's easy to clean.

It'll function as it always has before hand it'll just be more sensitive from my understanding and my experiences
It'll depend on the person with the growth although for me personally i noticed the first growth happening the 2d week?
Don't quote me but it was fairly quickly but it was barley noticeable i'm 4 weeks on T now and I've noticed it's grown more and it was clear it wasn't just my brain thinking otherwise. But that's for me for others it could be longer or shorter time spans of when more growth may or may not be seen.

I heard DHT improves growth but also makes you lose hair. That true?

Yes and no. With folks who already have hair loss in their gene pool then, most likely yes. If you do not have a predisposition to balding then it may make your hair become more thin than T already makes it. Possible that you just start shedding more. However, this also just pertains to head hair, not beard hair. Some guys will take DHT if they're not seeing enough facial hair and want to thicken it out.

Been on DHT for a little over a month. My junk is thicker but not longer. No hair loss, but I am also not genetically predisposed to balding.

So it accelerates natural hair loss, or does it just cause it temporarily? I've seen people saying they want to use it for a month or a few weeks on or off, it sounds like they are trying to get the D growth while minimizing permanent hair loss. Someone said the mechanism had something to do with blocking up the hair follicles but if that's the case it probably could be prevented with some sort of scalp meds. . .

I believe as soon as you stop taking it it will cease being a contributor to head hair loss. However, if you suffered significant hair loss your hair may not come back 100% the way it was. I imagine DHT being a weird time speed up. Most men grow more facial hair and lose head hair as they age, DHT does this for you in a shorter amount of time then cis guys. So if over a period of 25 years you'll have a thick beard and shiny dome, then DHT will just turn that 25 years into 25 months.

It made an interesting read and I did not know that DHT is a thing. I'm pretty excited for my next appointment. I'm hoping I might be able to start hormones this year. (fingers crossed)

I had clit growth after 3 weeks on Androgel (switched to injections not long after). Echoing what someone else wrote about keeping clean. I have to jerk off differently than Pre-T (TMI sorry!)...I'm really enjoying the change, 8 years on
