Hey ladies,

So I've been on HRT about a week now, YAY!!!! [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

At my Dr appointment I asked about what kind of vitamins I could add to my regiment. He suggested D3 (because I live in Seattle yay for grey skies lol) and a B-complex. I've also added Milk thistle and biotin.

I'm curious are any of you taking vitamins and if so what are y'all taking?

PS I'm not sure if this violates any of the site policy. If it does I apologize and I'll delete the post.

Unless there is a reason for deficiency (poor diet or lack of sun like you say) there is no reason to take vitamins. It's all in a well balanced diet

Ya, but most people don't eat a balanced diet.   :)

I take a daily multivitamin, biotin, fish oil, and chondroiton/glucosamine.

Hugs, Devlyn

A little biotin and niacin. That's about it...
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

I wouldn't say most don't have a balanced diet, but I would say most people taking multivitamins don't need to unless they were told by a doctor  ;D

Milk thistle for instance, just have an artichoke or put cilantro in a meal!

I asked my doctor what I should take, she asked me what my eating habits were. I told her and she said I probably don't need any but if I feel the need then One-A-Day women's would be more than enough. My body will use what it needs and dump the rest. One-A-Day is not that expensive so I'm not wasting a bunch of money.

Can I ask WHY you are taking them if your doctor says you probably don't need it? It's a bit more harmful than that...
