This shirt appeals to the not so inner nerd in me.

That's a cute outfit. Whether it is right depends on where you are going and your goals. Do you just want to wear something comfy or is it important it is to you that people know you are a girl? It's pretty andro so unless you are really girly looking, without the right accessories (bag, jewelry, makeup and confidence) people may confuse you for a guy.

OK, last one... I think I'll get all three, and a couple pairs of jeans.

I'm just going to sit down and watch a movie, read or whatever, so something comfy.  I just want the feeling of being able to be myself.  It's pretty much what I wear now, only the womens version, and probably what I'll continue to wear most of the time.  Feeling is more important than looks to me right now.  I think I may buy a womens pair of sneakers as well.

Although, I admit I really want to go as Susan Sto-Helit next Halloween. :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Sto_Helit

I understand. It feels good wearing my own clothes too! I was thinking you were going out and I didn't want you to have any problems with someone thinking you were a guy.
