I can recall the restroom signs I saw growing up, "Ladies Room" and "Colored Women's Room".  Nasty, nasty stuff.

I fear that in pining for the Old Days, folks who just want to bring back feeling superior to someone else as a "freedom" are about to do this again, with "Women's Room" and "Transgenders Room".  (And I hate nouning adjectives, too!)
