Hello everybody!

Does anybody have any experience of going to Korea for jaw surgery work(V-line etc) instead of a normal FFS surgeon?
I've already had brow bossing removal, but I'm afraid the surgeons I originally picked would be too conservative.
I'm looking at
1)Facial Team EU-did brow bossing here, went perfectly well, surgeons were nice
2)Faceline clinic-recommended by My SeoulSecret
3)Banobagi-recommended by My SeoulSecret
4)Delightful Aesthetics-dug out from forums, appears to be very good
5)The Face Dental(and then somewhere else for Rhinoplasty etc)-dug out from forums, appears to be very good, well known with local Koreans, not so much with foreigners
6)Semin Plastic surgery-dug out from forums, appears to be very good, well known with local Koreans, not so much with foreigners

Thank you so much

Hey there

I also had my forehead reconstruction, rhinoplasty, genioplasty with a FFS surgeon in US  and currently contemplating going to either Korea or Taiwan for my jaw, chin.

I was considering Banobagi but I am afraid about the factory approach/surgeon swapping issues with big Korean clinics and the language barrier with small ones.

Now I am leaning towards these two in Taiwan since they also specialize with MTF facial feminization.

ID hospital comes to the top for swapping, but a lot others do it too.

I decided not to pursue Korea after reading this blog:

https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/negative-clinic-experiences.873591/

Now I understand every cinic is going to have some negativity results, I personally don't want to take any risks. Plus I am scared how consultations and surgery sometimes occur on the same day.

Isla,

I am waiting to hear back from the Taiwanese surgeons. If all goes well, I Am plAnning to go there in end of mArch or sometime in April

Dear Ypsf09

Yes I am aware of the doctor swopping etc.But yesterday I talked to the founder of MySeoulSecret and he too said that sometime ago,he did consider doing a rhinoplasty in South Korea.A lot of what you read on the forums cannot be trusted. Some places that people say are good are not good actually etc. There's a lot of politically motivated talk there,in a place like purseforum.I have read those too.I don't doubt the Taiwanese surgeons authenticity and his skill, but I am still keeping my options open. Some places are genuinely bad like Grand etc.But remember that people say a clinic is "bad"-a lot of it is due to personal expectations and psychology as well,on top of unrealistic expectations.

I talked to that guy for more than an hour yesterday on Whatsapp call.

I will consider Taiwan too personally.
