Two Bodies/Same Soul

So are there any experts out there who know if Spiro is covered by medicaid in va? I'm FINALLY starting HRT and I need to know. If it doesn't cover my estrogen that's fine, because I can get that from my pharmacy for $4.

Also can't believe i'm starting HRT. <3

I am so lucky to be where I am! :)

Medicaid coverage varies by state and you might want to call to ask about that. Just recently NYC is having Medicaid cover transrelated care.

Spiro should be covered for its FDA approved use which is treating hypertension, so it should be covered. I am not on Medicaid but my plan covers it for that use. In any case generics are not hard to find and it is not expensive.

Congrats on starting HRT :)

So if I just turn the meds in I should be ok right?

You mean the prescriptions? The pharmacy should be able to run it and tell you how much it costs. Try Walmart or target they have cheap generics
