So on malacards it uses male pseudohermaphrodite and true hermaphroditism to describe swyer syndrome. I was reading this book about intersex that's the name of it and on page 215 it says male pseudohermaphritism term is basically someone with undescended testes but a vagina or feminized genitalia. Where true hermaphroditism has to do with mixed gonadal tissue I checked this out on a few other sites that also associates it with ovotestes and ambiguous genitalia. But with swyer syndrome they usually just have gonadal streaks and female genitalia not ambiguous. So idk how either terms apply?

Also I'm confused about my own condition I have ovaries but an xxy karyotype and female genitalia. I looked at female pseudohermaphrodite am and it didn't fit because the outer genitalia is masculinized in that case. And I dont have ovotestes or make reproductive organs at all. So does anyone know if there's a fourth term?

Ive looked it up pseudo hermaphroditism  and the terms dont fit either way. For swyer syndrome.e the gonads aren't ovotestes ovaries or testis they are gonadal streaks. And they dont have ambiguous genitalia nor masculine gebitalia. But their genotype is xy.


For xxy swyer syndrome the gonads are ovaries and the sexual reproductive organs are all female. The genitalia puberty and appearance is female but the genotype is xxy


Male pseudo hermaphroditism have testis which neither swyer syndrome or xxy swyer syndrome display this. Female hermaphroditism has ovaries and female sex organs but male outer genitalia and usually an xx karyotype


True hermaphroditism has ovotestes which neither is in swyer syndrome or xxy swyer syndrome.


That's why I'm saying in those three categories it doesn't really fit?


And I checked my link none of them have pictures. My question pertains to hermaphroditism as a condition not as a term used to describe a person.
