So I'm now well past the 1 year mark on HRT, and I've got an abundance of baby hairs filling in the left corner of my hairline. They appeared about 3-4 months ago. However, on the right side, there's nothing like that happening! It's still basically square, like it was pre-HRT.

Has this happened to anyone else? Hairline rounding on one corner but not the other? It looks unbalanced...

I've been on HRT too short of a time to have seen any changes, however (anecdotally) one of my good friends who is also transitioning (>6 months HRT) has seen some regrowth, which is really nice as she suffered from even worse of a receding hairline than me.

If you have any growth at all...celebrate!

Aw, I'm grateful for the changes it would just be nice if it was happening evenly..

I've been curious about this too, HRT 9 months/2days and Finasteride added over 3 months ago, my forehead and especially the sides of my head or templeish area are full of very thin short hairs, however all of them are entirely blonde and I have dark brown hair. I'm under no illusion that I'm magically going to ever have blonde hair but is that normal for hair to be that color? I'm thankful to see any new growth but if its stays blonde it's not really helpful as it's not really noticeably at any distance >_<

My temples have finally fully regrown but one side is a bit thicker than the other. That one side is catching up though. Its taken forever for my hair to grow back on each side.

Baby hairs often look lighter than what fully mature hair looks like in terms of color.

I had some regrowth, mine came in evenly. However, it left a lot of barren realestate... I actually got the best advice from my plasic surgeon over what would and wouldnt come back with hormones.

I was told by my hair transplant Dr after the first round of transplants that my scalp was a wasteland for hair follicles and I would never get any new growth with HRT. I saw him after being on HRT 6 months along with about 18months of low/no T and he was astonished as to how much new growth had been stimulated by the first and second lot of transplants. I am now confident that given enough time I will have a reasonable head of hair for a proper styling even at my age of 53.

I'm a bit over nine months in, and maybe a minor amount?  At least for me it hasn't done that much.

That being said, I've been on finasteride/dutasteride for a decade and a half, and I halted all loss then.  But, it's still not a natal female hairline 

I'll give myself time, but I think you've got some incredibly luck going on right now.  Jealous!

You never know, everyone's circumstances are different, with me the Dr believes the actual mechanism of transplanting the hair stimulated the follicles along with the transplanting of my own hair. It really needs about 9 months further to grow in properly. I have heard it can take over a year before anything shows up in the temple area

Hovering around 6 weeks. Temples have some regrowth. Nothing to write home about, but it's there.

The same has been happening to me. It depends on which side you tend to sleep on the most, blood circulation is increased on the side that is against the bed, and may effect hair growth. Try packing wet coffee grounds in the areas you want to fill in, leave it on for about 15 - 30 minutes once every few days and then rinse it out, should increase growth, and thickness, because it blocks dht in the follicle and increases circulation.

From what my doctor gave me it says hair change hits its peak 2 years in on steady treatment.

I had a tough time deciding if i wanted hair transplants or a rhino first. Nose won. Bandanas and visors rock

Nearing 3 months in. Temples are pretty filled in.
