I've been told I have a naturally feminine face however whenever I look in a mirror it just feels off and I get episodes where I can't stand to look at myself. 100% of people gender me as male when they see me, so I know my face doesn't pass.

So I'd like to know which parts I'don't need to receive & what the costs would be. I think I would do do my chin/jaw and forehead, but I'm not sure if I need to do a rhinoplasty and upper lip surgery as well.

I don't have a good answer to exactly what you need, but I might have something that may help you figure it out on your own. I've studied figure drawing in the past, and I have always found it helpful to squint my eyes when I want to find out what looks off from my drawing. When you squint, you lose focus on the details, which in turn helps you see big blocks of shapes and shades that help you see the big picture. I suggest try doing that with pictures from the internet and get a feel of how female faces of your ethnicity look, and then go back and forth between your photo and others' to see where the difference is. I know that everyone looks different, but if you scrutinize many photos this way you will start to be able to see like an artist and instinctively know what needs improvement. I really think it will help you in the long run. All the best,
Yuna

I think you have a naturally feminine face as well. A side profile with hair tied/pulled back would have given a better perspective. IMO you don't need lip surgery. dunno about rhinoplasty. I think forehead can be done with a little brow lift. Other than that you look fine. From front angle, IMO, you wouldn't need jawline/chin but it's up to your choice.

Maybe if you pluck and paint your eye brows thinner, you will look more femenine. I think your chin looks fine. No prominent jawline. Maybe change the glasses to someting  with more color on them. Many Women use glasses as accessories. They have jewels or color and fancy layout. Men's glasses are often plain and boring.

For Asian trans women interested in FFS, I believe that rhinoplasty and brow bossing reduction are essential.  And in your case I think that also holds true.  While your brow ridge is within the range for Caucasian women, it's not within the range for Asian women.  And although your nose isn't overly masculine, it doesn't look to me like an Asian woman's nose either.

As for jaw work... take a look at this image of a cis woman who got jaw work done in Korea:

As you can see, she had a very wide jaw.  But clearly she still looks female, even in the 'before' photo.  It's normal for Asian women to have wide jaws!  It's an ethnic trait - Asian women naturally have wider jaws than western women.  These days though it's becoming increasingly popular for women in Korea to have jaw reduction surgery.  But I think in this case the woman went a little too far and the end result looks unnatural.  So I'd caution you about getting work done on your jaw and chin that you may not necessarily need.

I'm Asian too, and I had FFS that consisted primarily of forehead work and rhinoplasty.  My nose looked way more masculine than yours before my FFS.  And my forehead probably looked about the same.  Even now, I think my jaw looks wider than yours (lots of buccal cheek fat doesn't help, lol).  But I opted not to do any chin/jaw work when I had my FFS.  And despite that, I have no problems passing - I'm instantly gendered as female in every situation these days, even without makeup.  Maybe I'll change my mind in the future about jaw work, but I'm pretty happy with how I look now.  If I did get it done later, it would be for chasing beauty, not for help in passing.

As for costs, expect to pay anywhere from $20k to $40k USD depending on which surgeon you go to.  And when you have your consultations with FFS surgeons, ask them to show you before and after photos of their Asian patients.  Ask them how many surgeries they've done on Asians.  And ask them if they understand the aesthetic differences between Asian faces and western faces.  Good luck!

Alright, here it is. The forehead is pretty slanted, and I might need to move the hairline forward.

I am not sure if u have been on HRT and if so for how long ? The reason I ask is because ur hair is short. I would at least wait until 12 months on HRT and grow hair out/play with wigs/hair extensions.

Based on the two pics you posted, in my opinion you would benefit from forehead work( in your case may be just burring and filing but can't tell for sure because of your glasses), jaw, chin and maybe rhinoplasty too(nose looks good in profile but a bit wide in the front view).

You may/should also want to consider surgeons that have extensive experience feminising Asian faces.

I've been on HRT for 13 months, and prefer to have shorter hair since long hair is a hassle to work with.

EDIT: Here's me without glasses
