Hey Guys!

I was wondering if any of you have experience with doses being changed and can tell me about how it went for you. I was started on the 100mg/ml  once a week for two months and did my bloodwork and the doctor has changed it to 200mg/ml and I'm curious to know if the strength of the dose helped to progress things better than the lower concentration. Did you end up having any side effects that you didn't have at the lower concentration? Thanks in advance!

I was wondering the same thing. My doctor asked me at my consent meeting whether I wanted "transition quickly or slowly?" and that would indicate what dose she put me on. So it made it sound like a higher dose would make things go quicker.
I was also considering going up on dose next time I see her and was hoping that I would get another jolt of changes because it seems like things have slowed down for me.

I switched from gel to injections at 3 months on T. The concentration was different, but with the daily application it came out to about the same. No noticeable changes there other than shots being more convenient.

My dose was lowered after my hysterectomy. Since I didn't have ovaries anymore, my T skyrocketed and that caused my E to go up as well. New dose was a 20% reduction in volume but the same concentration (200mg/ml). With the new dose, my E levels dropped and all of the side effects I was experiencing due to the high T/high E combo went away. I also noticed my facial hair started to fill in more and fat redistribution was much more noticeable.

Yeah my doctor wanted to start low to see how I did on it and then check in with me but unfortunately he had surgery complications and isn't allowed back into the office yet :( I hope your appt with your doc goes well and you see more changes. I think I've kinda stalled on my original dose. Like I have a little bit of hair in places and my voice is a little lower but it isn't consistent.

At three months on T were you progressing well? I've watched a lot of youtube videos and almost all of the guys have their voice deeper to some level. I know that it doesn't work the same from man to man but I'm curious. I'm really thinking about getting a hysto done much sooner than a few years from now because my E was out of control and I experienced a ton of bad side effects that were probably akin to what you felt on high T/E.

I was, but I also had a preexisting hormonal condition that made my starting T levels a little higher than they should've been. It wasn't quite in the male range, but it was well above the female reference range. Pre-T, my voice was fairly low, lots of muscle tone, and I could grow hair just about everywhere but my chest and face.

I actually started on a half dose of gel for the first month. My voice started to drop within the first two weeks. Same with downstairs growth. Body hair started to fill in a little more over the first three months. Period stopped before the 3 month mark. I didn't notice any change going from gel to injections, or from the half dose of gel to the full dose of gel. It all seemed to work about the same for me.

I did notice a marked improvement after the hysto, and fat redistribution was much more noticeable after I lost a lot of weight. Beyond facial hair filling in more and all my remaining fat moving to my gut, I haven't noticed any new changes at 2+ years on T.

My doc said I should feel free to change the dose up if I felt like it on gel so I did experimentally - didn't stay on it long as I got hit with massive water retention, so can't say if it accelerated anything, that was just too uncomfortable and I went back to my original dose and the water retention vanished. As it was I got a bunch of changes very quickly anyways on the first dose.

I'll see her in about a month so I'm sure by then I will see quite a few more changes. She and I agreed on starting me pretty middle of the high range and the low range just to see how I do on it. Considering how much I've seen thus far I think starting maxed out would have gotten me hulk like in no time. A friend just commented on how low my voice is in just 2 months, her friend is 5 months and still sounds very feminine.
