I've lucked out with the clothes at Target because the size that fits me fits perfectly. The thing is There are a lot of places I would like to shop at for the style the sizes usually don't go there is a store next to my apartment that deals in recycled clothes , but the top size is just below mine. Yesterday I went to Marshall's and I can usually find something if it's in a stretch fabric like I did yesterday . They had some really pretty dresses , but their top size is just below my size. I took 4 dresses of the same size into the dressing and only came out with one that fit right. The others because of the fabric were just too tight, but were very pretty. I'd liked to shop at boutiques , but their sizes usually fall short of mine by one size. I need to lose weight which would solve the problem.

Hugs. I know that feel. Honestly, what's keeping me from going fulltime is the fact that I don't have any female clothes yet and I probably won't invest in any until I lose weight. I highly doubt they'd have clothing that fit me if I tried.

Like my almost as tall as me ex wife, I am now complaining about about 3/4 length sleeves when it comes to about everything.

Then throw in "Vanity Sizing" to further complicate matters. By most size charts and past history I am a size 12-14. Yet, 8-10 seems to be what fits me these days. My basic dimensions have no changed in these past 20-30 years so what gives?. Most times I have 2-3 different sizes of the same thing when I hit the changing room

I was lucky yesterday because Marshall's doesn't really carry a lot , but some of the stuff is nice. I just lucked out with a pretty dress that had enough stretch to it.

I wear a 16 in most sizes, some are 16-18 so clothes for me are easy to find. Thats why I mainly shop at Wal-Mart or thrift stores have found alot of nice clothes at a couple of stores we went to. My wife is my fashion consultant and
She has great taste in what would like nice and what won't.

I can fit easily into a Australian size 12-14. Only issue I have is the bum area... I have no bum :(

Other places I look I am 14-16 top. I guess it is the way places size items which is a real pain as I could get a tshirt that fits in one shop and the same in another and it is to short?

A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting

I haven't tried on many dresses but there was one that I saw tonight that just broke my heart because it was gorgeous but only in petite sizes. I do want to find at least 1 nice one that I can wear to art shows.

That's such a nasty feeling when you got your hands on one and you see the size and it's the only size and wrong

Any "plus size" stores in your area?  I've often shopped at one of those.
I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

I have done my share at stocking the shelves at Goodwill. I order online and am not one to return items. Good will is far easier and more anonymous. I'm an 18 or 1x. I have ordered the same dress 3 times in different sizes due to them being "asian" sizing and measurements do not seem to correlate to their sizing tables very well. It can add up but hey I'm supplying brand new clothing to the less fortunate.

I have some difficulty mainly with button up tops and various dresses. I am relatively fit and slender but i have decent size boobs and my shoulders are still pretty masculinish. Sometimes when i buy stuff that is large enough to work for my bust and my shoulders, it hangs like a tent on the rest of me, and this is even taking into account i have pretty womanly hips and butt area.

I find stretchy stuff like sweater dresses work well and i will have some things tailored at times. Jeans are what i live in 80% of the time and those i never have issues with.
