I'm trying to find information on the results of SRS, GRS (or Gender Affirming Surgery.... GAS....

lol c'mon, it's kind of funny) performed at Boston Medical.
I'm at the 1 year mark of hormones and my insurance will pay for SRS but will only allow for in network surgeons which limits me to Boston Medical. They've only just started performing SRS at Boston Medical in the fall of 2016. I don't want to be an experiment for them. I was planning on self paying for surgery with a seasoned surgeon who has a great track record but... I seriously can't afford it but this isn't the time to be bargain hunting. I can't wait much longer. I'm trying to be patient but at 45 I'm looking at the clock ticking down. "Girlhood" and "young womanhood" have pretty much passed me by despite Dr. Spiegel's superb work.
Sucks that we (some of us) have to cash in our entire life's investments just to get what women are given freely from the start. Although... not having a period is nice
SOOOOOooooooo I was wondering if anyone has heard/seen any of their work at Boston Medical. My primary is head of transhealth at Fenway and has seen hundreds of transsexual patients go through transition. He's optimistic about Boston Medical but is also hesitant because they just started (these are my opinions based on what his reactions are to my questions, please don't consider my opinions to be his opinions). He's very thumbs up with McGinn.
A good trans friend of mine got her knockers done at Boston Medical. 800 cc silicone over the muscle and I'm surprised at how good they look. They're also very soft. She's only a bit over 1 year post op but they look and feel fantastic. She said the care is great but she is not considering SRS.
