I Am Jess

Today is the 2nd anniversary of my starting Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

HRT has been a life saver for me. It really is amazing how wonderful life is when your body is running on the correct hormones.  There have been so many changes over the last two years that I cannot even name them all.  But the most important one of all is that I am finally very happy to be me. It took over 50 years for me to reach the point of being comfortable with myself and for that I will truly grateful to my family, my friends and my doctors for helping me through my transition.

So keep small children and puppies away from this post because this is what I looked like exactly two years ago. And this is me today. Gone is the man full of false bravado and in his place is strong and confident woman who is content to just be herself.

Congratulations, you look spectacular. I love seeing stories like yours, so thanks for sharing.  I'm 39 and just getting started with HRT.  I have a lot of anxiety related to how much success I will have with gaining a more feminine appearance since I'm transitioning so late into life.  Seeing others who have done it later in life and turned out so beautiful gives me a lot of hope.  So again, thank you for sharing your story and your photos.  I pray you find continued happiness and peace!!

Wow!!!
What a magical and beautiful transformation, Jess. Very inspiring. I'm on day 4 of HRT so I'm just thrilled to be moving in that direction myself!

This.  I, too, am finally happy to be me.  Congratulations, Jess!  It has been a pleasure to know you, and I am grateful for your friendship.

Blessings to you always,

Terri

Jess,
You do look amazing and it's quite inspiring! Still new here and if I am out of line forgive me but are your results from HRT alone or have you done FFS or other things to get these results?

Thanks for your post

Dana
Cheers,

Dana

I have been very open about my transition here and have previously described what I did. At 6 months of HRT I had some minor FFS and breast augmentation.  For FFS I had my hairline lowered, forehead contouring, eyebrow lift, brow bone reduction and my upper and lower eyelids work on. Here is what I looked like right before and right after my procedures.
