So I just wanted to post this to try and help others. I made this video of all the stuff that happened for like the first week post op. Like the dressing coming out the stent and all that sort of stuff. I felt like there wasn't anything like this out there and it needed to be done because personally If someone did something like this it would have helped me.

Now just so you know it can be graphic so if you have a weak stomach maybe stay away and I went to Montreal so every experience could be slightly different

Anyway I hope you all enjoy and if there are any problems with me posting this please just let me know

I think you can post a description with some suitable keywords so that a google search will turn it up.

I just watched it. Really good, but I think that might actually get moderated on YouTube as well!

I've seen a few videos on the unpacking, post op care, dilating, etc but they aren't easy to find. Often they're in, or linked from, a benign video showing local activities and cuisine enjoyed by the trans patient.

Just gotta keep looking, and going thru the first 10-20 pages of search results (and be sure to read the video description on sites like YouTube).

Everyone's experience is unique, because what "you" noticed/felt was perceived thru your experiences and values...that's why a written version is critical to understanding the video.

Maybe write up what you experienced and share that?

Thank you so much Zoey for sharing your video. It is really helpful for all of us girls who will have their GCS soon.
We probably should thank also Dr Brassard and his staff for letting you film the first results of his surgery and the unpacking procedure.
