So I have been on hormones for 1 year , and tomorrow is the day I will be able to have SRS, sex reassignment surgery , I'm happy , but also scared. Is there any good tips to keep calm for the surgery?

Welcome to Susan's Place. For the most part find something to keep your self occupied. Read a book, watch TV or talk to somebody. If you are in the hospital you may be able to get a sleeping pill before you go to bed so you sleep through the night. Don't worry about the surgery because you will go to sleep and what will seem like a few seconds latter, you will wake up and it will be all over. After surgery, if you hurt, make sure you let the medical staff know and they will adjust your medication as needed. There is no need to experience much pain or discomfort and a good medical staff will make sure you don't.

Hi Natuaniel

I'm Jeanette. Welcome to Susan's and congrats on both the one year and on SRS tomorrow. I hope you are bringing a laptop or have access to a computer so you can keep us informed on how you are doing after.
I would invite you into our lounge and have you get comfortable but I'm sure you are busy getting ready for tomorrow.

  hugs,
   Jeanette

Congratulations and welcome to Susan's.

The first week after srs is not pleasant but it gets better every day. I took 2 pain pills in the hospital but could have easily not taken them. I just wanted relief from the soreness so I could sleep.
