I know I'm going to need work done, puberty ruined what soft features I had. I'm pre everything at the moment, beyond experimenting with makeup I'm still trying to pick up the phone to make that first appointment, but until then I'm trying to figure out how to work with my appearance. My question I suppose is whether hormones and FFS would be enough to get me to a point of appearing female. Makeup helps a lot obviously, but there isnt much that can help my side profile as I've got brow bossing, a hooked nose, and an interestingly weak but masculine chin. Honesty is appreciated, ideally someday I'd love to be read as female automatically but I'm trying to be realistic, I don't think it'll be easy. Thanks in advance

  First thing you'll want to do is have a moderator (they try to help too) change that awful nom de plume of yours to a real moniker you like. Just figure out what you want us to call you and let a moderator know and they can fix it for you.
  Dating huh? romantic entanglements? Yeah I had a few, but I lost more from not doing anything than I won over with my masculine charms. I just wasn't aggressive in the pursuit. I thought I respected them and treated them like wonderful creatures. And they were too, problem was I wanted to be them more than i wanted them. Of course I didn't really realize that at the time.  But I don't think that helps you much.
   Don't worry there are a lot of us here and I am sure others will step up to give you better answers and understanding than I can.

  Doing things like that is restricted until you have a certain number of posts as are other things you may want to do. Posting an avatar picture is enabled when you have 15 posts.

A moderator will be along with useful links to things you will need to know here. when you can post an avatar and send a PM are two of them.

Welcome to Susan's Place. One of my therapist considered me to masculine to transition. The only thing altered on my face was my nose so don't count yourself out yet. On the other hand FFS can do some amazing things with the right surgeon. I am going to include the before and after links which will show you the results of some of our members transition. Some have had FFS and some have not.

As for inserting images, you need to host the image on another server like photo bucket. You should chose a server that you can remove your image should you change your mind in the future. After uploading the image, capture the url and insert with the following code.

HRT and FFS will help a lot, but that is not all there is to passing; voice is extremely important, and takes most people a couple of years to perfect if they work hard at it; and it is a good idea to start electrolysis as soon as possible as well. Other things that will help you pass are your hair, boobs (which HRT may or may not take care of), body shape (~ HRT), mannerisms (deportment), walk, etc.
