Whenever as a successfully socially integrated septuagenarian
male-to-female 23-years' post-operative gender variant woman proudly
given to displaying her progeny among the many photographs around her
apartment I blithely respond to any unsuspecting visitor's enquiry,
"So who's this man in the photographs?" "The father of my children."
