When I decided to transition, my Dr. sat me down and talked to me about what to expect.  A lot of it I had already known due to my research, but one thing caught me by surprise.  She told me not to be surprised if your interest change.  I just nodded my head and shrugged my shoulders.  I had no idea as to what was to come.  That ended up being the one thing that I noticed the most.
    Before, I was very attracted to women, now I am very attracted to men.  I think about being able to lay my head on his chest and feeling him run his fingers through my hair.  That kiss, when you lock your fingers behind his neck and the kiss sweeps you off your feet.  No. this is not strictly about sex.  I used to like good old rock 'n' roll like the Beatles and Clapton, and those soulful blues that are awesome to have a drink with, all of them.  I despised country and hip-hop.  Now, I love country, I still listen to the classics just not near as often as before.  If you get in my car, 95% of the cd's are country, not to mention all the preset radio stations.  Then, reading consisted of sports mags and mysteries, now,  give me a good smutt novel or some good mags (not feild and stream or hot rod) and I'll be good all night.  Before, shopping was 'get in and get out' now I can turn it into a full day trip.  I used to watch all the sports, football, baseball and hockey.  Now I just watch hockey (mainly because I think their hot) and if you can get me to watch more than a few minutes of the others, you're doing good.  Before, I was a shower kind of guy, now I want the tub full, bubbles to the top and a few candles.  I'm sure there are more exampes I can give, but I don't want to bore you. I wonder if I really liked those things at all or if I was just trying to be masculine.  Hmmmm, I wonder.
     If any of you have noticed changes like this, I would love to hear from you, unless I'm the only one.  It just amazes me that my interest have changed to such female ones.  I really hope that doesn't sound sexist.  I just don't know of to many women that liked everything that I used too.  Once again , just curious.

I haven't really noticed a big change. Before hrt and transition I crochetted now I knit. I was interested in guys before now I live with one. I loved my kitties before and still do. I worked on cars before now I race them. (no Danika Patrick does not need to worry) 
I guess I'm saying I agree with Redfish though who knows, everybody is different.

I've found that some of my interests have changed, and some haven't as much.

Really nice post Jessi. But as for me, I haven't been on HRT, but I can relate to a lot of the things you're going through. Like I've never much been into sports, but I will watch the last game just for conversation. My taste in music hasn't changed and I've always enjoyed a nice liesurely buble bath with a hint of jasmine as opposed to a shower and I always like taking my time when I'm going shopping as opposed to rushing in and arushing out. Never rush this girl, unless theres a blue light special.
