A part of me wants to feel for her, but I feel like a 3rd world person looking at a 1st world problem. If beard growth was my only issue as a cisgender woman, I would be blessed. I have that issue, bone structure issues, slight height issue, shoulder issues, hand/feet/voice issues.... And she consider herself a freak? What does that make me? lol

I don't know. She is naturally beautiful, and it wouldn't be too hard to laser remove it.

When you see cisgender women complaining about "masculine", weight, or beauty problems, how do you feel?

Everyone has their cross to bear. I can fully see why she's upset, and I have every sympathy with her.

I got too many crosses to bear, and I feel little, maybe a bit more... but it's like that's easily fixable. She already has her family support, which is major to me.

Thanks for the opinion.

I'm very sympathetic.  That discomfort is an echo of the body dysphoria I've had to live with for decades.  It's a self-esteem killer, and something that can be humiliating when someone else thoughtlessly points it out.

As in, I'm sitting in a restaurant, and a woman at the next table stretches her neck out, runs her forefinger up and down her throat, and then points at me. That sort of humiliating.

It happens to ciswomen as well as trans folks.  It's just as humiliating and hurtful to them.

Cosmetic issues in anyone that leads to their not meeting the standards of their culture are hard to live with, and to be blunt, when anyone, cis or trans, decides to question these issues in others, they aren't helping.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

I know this has nothing to do with my thread ------ but my mind can't handle this right now. This was one of my favorite songs of summer 2016, because of Suicide Squad was my movie, Harley Quin was my character that year!!! I love that character so much!

But I realize this was a 60s song, and it makes sense.
