You do not have to hide anymore. I also went thru what you've had to. So many times I had to scoot into my closet, "go to the bathroom", hide away from everyone. But they all already knew.
My brother had already seen me on numerous occasions and so had. My dad left home when I turned 11. I was 2 years older than my brother.
I cross dressed from age 5. I know how hard this is for you. But life moves along and we move with it. It took me until age 37 to really come out to my family, and until 56 to start living as a woman. I started growing my hair and began paying more attention to my diet, personal grooming and clothing. It took me a while to really start learning all the finer points; proper makeup application, carrying myself like a lady, acting like a lady, modulating my voice, what kind of clothing worked, how to walk in heels and how high they can be.
Take your time and think through everything very carefully, starting with how far you want this to go.
Remember, this is about YOU. And only you. And nobody else.
Much love and light to you!
