I did my T shot about 24 hours ago. I self injected into my left thigh, aspirated as usual, and nothing went wrong. However, all day, my thigh has been in severe pain. I was at show rehearsal, so of course it hurts more from dancing and running around, (and now my foot hurts too from walking oddly) but there's no visual sign of anything wrong- there was no excessive bleeding, no bruising or discoloration...should I be concerned? I mean, when I did shots in my behind originally, sometimes that spot would be sore, and it might be more noticeable now that I do it in a muscle that's active all day.

Thoughts?

Contravene

I've had similar pain in my muscles and around my knee when I injected too close to my knee or when my muscle wasn't relaxed when I did the injection. Sometimes it felt like I hit a nerve or like the T was just sitting there and not being absorbed as quickly as it should have been.

I'm not sure what caused it in your case but you could try injecting further back away from your knee making sure that your muscle is fully relaxed then massaging the spot before and after you do your shot. That seemed to help me and I haven't had any muscle pain since. If it keeps happening though I would definitely check with a doctor.

Fairly normal. My leg would be sore for a few days after the fact for the first few months that I did shots.
