Hey everyone. As time goes on I do see myself going further and further. I have been wondering what a good middle name is still:

Ashley Nicole

Ashley Paige

Ashey Marie

Ashley Monicah

Ashley Patricia

Opinions please :)

Personally I think Marie is a good middle name. :) However, I am a little biased, as it is my middle name as well. :D :P

By the way, is Marie the only one you'd change your first name for?

I have to confess to having no imagination regarding names.  I picked mine based on the sounds of my boy names.  I thought about going with something completely different, like Amanda or Grace (and my wife had innumerable other suggestions), but none of them felt like me.  Kathleen Lauren just sounded like me.

So, which of your choices feels most like you?

I like the rhythm of the two-syllable names, Nicole and Marie.  But all of them are pretty names.

Latina :) I speak Spanish, English and a bit of Portuguese.

I like Marie too, but Nicole would be second choice. I went from Robert Wayne to Wanda Jane, kinda kept the same ring.

I like Nicole, because it is my wife's nickname.   :)  But Ashley Patricia has such elegance to it.  It just depends on the effect you are after.

I went from Charles Edward to Carly Emelinda.  I guess I went crazy on syllables.  But Edward does not feminize well, and Emelinda contracts to Mindy, which is a name I used online when I was a lot younger.

It flows of the tongue better.  Devlyn is prejudiced in favor of it.

Just wanna through this out there. In college I had a friend that used both her first and middle name as her complete name. It was Claire Michelle. Just always thought that sounded cool, and that she used both as her name was different. :) Whatever you pick, I liked that she used both first and middle as her name.
I love dresses!!

Hi Ashley,
Try googling a program for suggestions on middle names. My coworkers helped me pick mine with this. It should be something easy to say, it should flow with the last name. To offer a suggestion, how about Morgan? Perhaps the most common middle names for gals are Lee and Marie. I wanted something that wasn't so popular.

I lean towards Ashley Nicole more. :)

Another thought is you could use what would have been your feminine birth name if you know it. I might end up going with Renée Amelia. :)

nicole and marie definitely sound best with the name ashley; which one works better would probably depend on the last name and how it sounds as a whole.  on their own, i think marie has the nicest flow, but that might change when the last name is added, like if it started with a rounded vowel sound for instance then nicole might work better.
