Do you know if all women wear fake nails or not? Even though I'm open to most aspects of femininity, I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing fake nails or anything fake (except boobs lol).

All woman?  Not at all.  Most that I know don't.  It depends on the woman and if that's an important esthetic or not.

It's just a matter of style prefrence.  I prefer short and painted nails, personally.

   No all women do not wear fake nails. Some do because they have trouble growing their own natural nails. I was born with strong fast growing nails that many ladies and girls I have known envied. I've always hated my nails cut really short and have complained about having to cut them so often.  Now that I'm able to I plan on keeping them longer and shaped with a nail file. Once I'm out I will keep them painted a nice pink or red.

  Fake nails? No I don't need them.

I guess it all depends on what you mean by fake... Acrylics, Gels, and Silks are all technically "fake" for that matter regular nail polish is not really natural.  It's kind of like asking "Do all women wear makeup?" I have really hard nails that grow really fast -  the problem is that they chip and break easily so if I want to keep them looking nice looking, they need help.   

It's just a fashion trend, and those can vary from person to person. Not everyone even buys into fashion trends. Just do what feels right to you. If you like fake nails, wear them.

Judging from what I see at the salon, no, many women do not go with fake nails.

I would say no most women can grow their own nails, those who can't get fake nails.

I can grow mine out quite quickly. Always have at least a clear coat on them.

Love doing my nails as most CIS women do. Its fun being a girl....

I didn't think I would ever get them but I just got fake nails and love them! As my nails grow I won't need the fake ones.

I do not ever want fake nails, not only from an aesthetic sense, but also for health concerns.

I am a health care worker and my employers do not allow anyone with fake nails to have contact with patients because fungus can grow under the nails and infect patients.
