I am not sure what name my parents wanted to call me if I would have been a girl at birth, however I know my dad wanted my name to start with an A so I could inherit some engraved plates from my great grand father (effin stupid reason in my view lol). Anjyways my dad wanted to call me alexandre but my mom disagreed and they settle on 'Alexis'. In france it is a boys name...
Now when I migrated to Australia, in my early 20s,I found out it is mainly a girls name here and boy I am loving it!
Planning my transition atm and right now I beleive I should keep my name. I am Alexis :) Everything happens for a reason.

Lady Sarah

My biological parents took his first and middle names, and flipped them. If there is a female version of Raymond, my mother could not think if it when I asked.
As for my adoptive parents, they specifically looked for a boy, and then gave me a biblical name.

Rayna

As a man, I always disliked "Randy" because it sounded too girly.  Not to mention when I found out what Brits think it means  :D  Now as a maybe-female, I think it fits.  Not sure if I should change the spelling to "Randi" though.
If so, then why not?

My mom has told me I would have been Elizabeth.  But they hadn't settled on a middle name yet.

I have always liked the name Kelly, so when the time comes I will be Kelly Elizabeth.

Teresa would be a great name.I have many friends in that name. Or Victoria, just like a queen.
I am a transgender woman, I have been this way all my life. I was filled with guilt at a very young age, a victim of a society that did not understand what it means to be free and yourself. I tried to adapt and flee from my real self by being a workaholic, eating, drinking and doing all in extremes.
Do we have to do the same now to transgender kids? Do they have to suffer all their lives? What about giving them a chance to live like normal people and be happy?
Help to protect transgender kids from bullies, transphobia and hate. Give them a chance.
