I was watching this show about how some Japanese people live in cyber cafes, and there was this one woman, Hitomi, aged 23, who said, (summarized) "I don't have goals or a reason to live. I let life carry me along. I don't have what you call a dream. It's good enough to just be alive." I thought about living like this too to be honest.

She lives in a community where she has her own small private room, but all the rooms are connected in a cyber café. I assumed they share the same bathrooms/eating facilities.... and that is kind of how I live my life right now (not exactly), but I share my bathroom/kitchen with a roommate. I don't have many goals either, and when she said she wanted to be a masseuse, I'll be honest, I think I would be happy doing just that too. Or a hairstylist, or something consider "pink-collar" job. I'm definitely not in a pink-collar job right now though.

I guess I relate to her a lot because I'm not depressed or anything, but I just live to be happy and just live life. PS: She's in ill-health, and wasn't expected to live to 20.

I think some of you might relate to her, because you don't want life to end, but you're just here on the world.
